Winter Cleanse

We usually hear a lot about spring and summer cleanses, but winter cleanses are also important. Winter is the height of the flu and cold season, making it crucial to maintain our body’s health to give ourselves the best chance at fighting off the latest bug.

There are many different cleanses available on the market, and to sift through all of the options can be overwhelming. A registered nutritionist can provide insight as to when you should start a cleanse and what cleanse is best suited for you.

Most healthy people benefit from regular liver/gall bladder cleanses. If you have never done a cleanse before, it is best to start with a series of mini cleanses every other week to ease your body (and mind) into it.

Some benefits of cleanses:
Cleanses are great for preventative maintenance. For example, liver/gallbladder cleanses are used to stimulate elimination of wastes from the body, open the blood and lymph flow to the liver, increase bile flow, and improve overall liver functioning. By cleansing your body’s filtration system, you can eliminate toxins from your blood and lymph more efficiently and enjoy an increased sense of vitality.
