We know that early, multidisciplinary care is often the most effective approach to your recovery and want to make sure you get the most out of your care plan. It is important to know that after the first 12 weeks following your accident, any pre-approved treatments that you have not used are no longer available. Additional coverage requests can be submitted to ICBC for approval, however it can be challenging – sometimes impossible – to get additional coverage for these services, especially if you have not accessed that specific treatment type during the early access period.
