Introducing: Marcus Too, RMT and Canucks Fan!
Marcus began his career in the healthcare industry working as a Kinesiologist. This experience gave him a glimpse of what could be achieved by working with patients one on one through the rehabilitation process. After 4 years working as a Kinesiologist, Marcus made the decision to further his education and dive into RMT training.
Marcus believes in a hands-on approach when it comes to treating an injury and utilizes active modalities (where appropriate) to aid his patients’ rehabilitation. In your treatment with Marcus, you can expect a thorough assessment to get to the root cause of where your pain/discomfort may be coming from. He believes that an effective assessment is the key to treating any condition successfully! Beyond the assessment, Marcus loves to get to know all about his patients, including their interests and hobbies (bonus points if he gets to learn something new!).
Marcus enjoys working with all populations, and has a special interest in working with athletes, especially knee-related injuries. His best advice for those looking to rehab an injury is:
Consistency is key when it comes to rehabilitating an injury
Outside of the clinic, Marcus is a Canucks fan who enjoys attending games whenever he can. When not at the game, you will find him at the gym, or relaxing at home with a good cup of coffee watching a movie, or playing a video game, or watching the Canucks game.
Marcus loves to travel and enjoys experiencing the different culture and cuisine that places have to offer. To date, his favoritefavourite place to visit was Japan (hello, sushi and matcha flavoredflavoured treats!) and he looks forward to continuing to explore the planet – next stop, Hawaii (and Japan again of course). His motto for life?
Work hard, play harder
Welcome to the TT team, Marcus!
